Real Madrid have no plans to sell Aurelien Tchouameni

Aurelien Tchouameni’s future at Real Madrid has been a source of speculation in recent weeks.

The 25-year-old has joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2022, but he has been linked with an exit from the club.

The Reds have had an excellent season under Arne Slot and are on course to win the Premier League title. But they are looking to add a new midfielder and view Tchouameni as an ideal option.

However, Marca reports Real Madrid have no intention of selling the French star as they consider him as an important part of their long-term plans.

Tchouameni is also said to be happy at his present club and hasn’t expressed any desire to leave. He is highly valued by his teammates and coaching staff for his quality on the pitch and also his willingness to adapt when the team needs him.

The France international mainly plays as a defensive midfielder, but he didn’t make any complaints when Carlo Ancelotti asked him to perform the centre-back role.

Tchouameni has been an important member of Ancelotti’s first-team this season, as he has made 33 appearances across all competitions for the Spanish giants.

He has been averaging an impressive 4.3 ball recoveries, 1.5 tackles, 1.4 interceptions, 2.2 clearances per game in La Liga this term.

Madrid have been linked with an interest in Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate, per Sports View. They have a clear need to strengthen its defense and consider the 25-year-old as a perfect option.

There have been suggestions that Los Blancos would be open to an exchange between Tchouameni and Konate.

However, their stance has now emerged and they clearly don’t have any plans to part with the Frenchman.

Real haven’t been very convincing this campaign, but they are in close competition with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for the La Liga title.
